Course delivery

The course is delivered entirely online, with no need to travel to a training facility. You complete the learning at your own pace, then submit a written assignment for marking by one of our qualified assessors.

How it works:

  1. Complete the online learning modules (approximately 4 hours, self-paced)
  2. Complete the interactive self-marked quiz
  3. Complete and submit your written assignment (approximately 1.5 hours)
  4. A qualified assessor reviews and marks your assignment
  5. Once competency is confirmed, your Statement of Attainment is issued

Most students complete the full course in approximately 5 to 6 hours, spread across their own schedule.

Anyone named as a party in the Chain of Responsibility under the Heavy Vehicle National Law has a legal obligation to ensure transport activities are safe and compliant. This includes drivers, fleet managers, dispatchers, schedulers, loaders and business owners involved in the movement of heavy vehicles.

After completing the online modules and self-marked quiz, you complete a written assignment and submit it for marking. A qualified assessor reviews your submission and confirms competency. You do not need to attend any in-person assessment.
