Target audience

This course suits people who have been nominated as Chief Warden or who hold a leadership role within a workplace Emergency Control Organisation. It is well suited to managers and supervisors responsible for emergency procedures, and to people who have previously completed warden training and want a practical refresher.

You do not need a formal qualification outcome. You need to be confident in your role and compliant with your workplace emergency management requirements.

Course delivery

The course is delivered entirely online, with no need to travel to a training facility. You complete the learning at your own pace, then schedule a short verbal assessment with one of our qualified trainers.

How it works:

  1. Complete the online learning module (approximately 40 minutes, self-paced)
  2. Complete the interactive self-marked quiz
  3. Schedule your verbal competency assessment (approximately 20 minutes, conducted by phone or video call with a qualified trainer)

 

Once you pass the verbal assessment, your certificate is issued. Most students complete the full course in under one hour.
